On July 13th, 2024, (Former) President Donald Trump was almost assassinated. As I’m writing this, details are still a little sketchy, but what is known is that Trump was struck in the ear, at least one bystander was killed, and the alleged assassin is dead. Within moments of the attempt, Trump stood tall and strong, fist raised in the air, in what will likely be one of the most iconic images of the decade, if not century.

I will admit, when I first heard about what had happened, I had a hard time believing it. Not that someone would try to assassinate Trump, that I believed instantly. After all, we’ve had people calling for his death, including Celebrities and actual Politicians. Kathy Griffin is a great example of it dating back all the way to 2017.

No, the thing I had a hard time believing was that someone would be so fucking stupid. I understand that Presidents have faced assassination attempts and successes over the years. Jackson, Lincoln, Kennedy, Roosevelt, and Reagan are just some of the most famous examples. Here’s the thing though, assassinating a president generally doesn’t do anything except kill the man and create a martyr, and an attempted assassination that false, well, that just makes a legend.

And as of this moment, Trump, is even more of a legend than he was before. He faced death and stood tall, proud, and strong. Something that hits even harder after the recent debate with Biden in which Biden looked weak, disoriented, and discombobulated through out the entire thing. A man of iron vs a man of balsa wood that has been devoured by termites. Something that has only gotten worse since then for Biden, who has gaffed by calling Zelenskyy “Putin” and referring to Harris as “Vice President Trump.”

Understand, when it comes to politics and presidential elections, looks count for even more than you might think. Back when Kennedy and Nixon were running against each other, one of the key factors for Kennedy winning was theirs was the first televised presidential debate and the young, strong, handsome Kennedy won hearts and minds over the ugly, older Nixon. Policies matter, sure, but people more often than not can be swayed by aesthetics and as of right now, Trump has all the aesthetics.

Trump came onto the scene as a rebel, someone who knew the system inside and out, had won using it, but was willing to tear it down for the sake of everyone else. When they tried to make him into a criminal, rather than be beaten down he turned it into street cred and proof that he was the rebel he claimed to be. Now, with the advent of someone trying to literally kill him, he is set to become something more. A heroic figure who has put his very life on the line to fight against a system and government that is presciently robbing everyone blind and leaving them starving and broken on the street.

But this assassination has done more than that. Recently, the Supreme Court ruled that the President has some legal immunity for his actions while president. While this has sent many on the left into either a tizzy or flat out panic mode, this is an important thing to note for a couple reasons. One, as I mentioned before, a lot of highly visible people have been calling for Trump’s death, including a number of high ranking Democratic politicians. This attempt on his life grants Trump casus belli for going after all of them should he be reelected (which is seeming very likely at this point, since he was already insanely popular, had a banger of a debate, and has now survived an attempt on his life). After all, if he was responsible for what happened on J6, then they are all just as responsible for the attempt on his life.

In even more direct terms, he has casus belli against Biden directly. The Secret Service had made multiple requests prior to this incident for more resources to protect Trump, but Biden’s DHS denied them these resources in what can be interpreted as a blatant attempt to leave Trump open and unprotected so that he could be assassinated. Further, according to at least one source, Biden said it was “Time to put Trump in the bullseye,” during a private call with his donors. One could assume this was merely a figure of speech, but given the statement happened just days before an actual attempt was made, well…the timing certainly doesn’t look good. And it’s a much more inflammatory statement than what Trump made on J6.

Now, I am not saying Trump will do this. I’m not even going to say he should do this. What I am saying is that now Trump absolutely has just as well as the moral and the legal right to go after literally everyone who posted online or made a public statement calling for his life to be ended, or even just painting him as an existential threat that needed to be dealt with. Like Sulla of Rome, the list of potential proscriptions is long and not unjustified should it be carried out. Trump has claimed he wants to “drain the swamp” and this attempt on his life, in addition to all the legal shenanigans the democrats have pulled against him since he left office, has given him the perfect excuse and tools for the job. He could potentially devastate the Democratic party and its supporters. And if he is half the tyrannical monster the Left paint him to be, well…

Here’s the thing though, as bad as it could potentially be for the Dems and the Left now that Trump has survived this attempt on his life, it would have been much, much worse had the attempt actually succeeded. As I said, a president or candidate who survives an attempt on their life becomes a hero. A dead one becomes a Martyr.

I know people on the left like to scream that Trump’s followers are a cult, but from personal experience that isn’t exactly true. That’s mostly a joke they make, but it is a joke on the edge of truth. A truth that would have become a reality had Trump actually died. Much like Julius Caeser, upon his assassination Trump would have basically become deified. Then you would have seen a true Cult of Trump arise.

Nancy Pelosi was quoted as saying “I thank God that former President Trump is safe,” and it’s little wonder she would. As much as she has tried to destroy him, (and may have even been one of those calling for his death in the past), she is a life long politician who has been around since JFK. She’s not a complete fool, even if she is a vile and corrupt person. She knows exactly what would have happened if Trump had been killed.

Her head would have been on the end of a pike.

Recently, I wrote a post commenting on Volmarr’s fears of Christo-Fascists and the need to vote for a “dead blue ticket” to prevent a civil war, because if Trump is elected “it will start a Second American Civil War.” I commented on how if Trump isn’t elected, one is probably facing much the same thing, because, well, it would take a miracle no God I know of could pull off to get Biden to beat Trump this time, and should Biden somehow win everyone is going to know the election was rigged, which would start a SACW itself. Here’s the thing though, I don’t think there would be a SACW if Trump wins, I think that’s mostly big talk from the Left…but if Trump had actually been killed, then that would have sparked it because his followers would have full casus belli to start one in the name of their martyred champion and Trump wouldn’t be around to make them stop.

At which point, thanks to the internet, every single person who called for Trump’s death would be outed and dragged into the streets to be killed, followed by every Democrat politician they could find. Pelosi would find herself at the lethal end of something and made an example off. Especially in light of both her treatment of the J6 people as well as her own admission that she caused J6 to happen by refusing Trump’s offer of the National Guard.

In life, Trump isn’t the monster the Left makes him out to be, but in death he would be. He would be the rallying cry behind widespread violence and purges. A man can stand against something, but a Myth can stand for whatever the loudest voice wants it to. Had that bullet been one inch to the right, well…

There’s Sulla, there Caesar, and then…there’s Augustus. Trump has three sons, Donald Jr., Eric, and Barron. Junior is his father’s heir apparent, his political views appear to be much the same as his father’s and I find it likely that when Trump passes the torch of leadership, Junior is the most likely to pick it up and run for President. Had his father been assassinated, I suspect Junior would have taken his place on the ticket and carried the victory. His presidency would probably have gone much like Trump’s, though I’m sure his father’s death would have motivated him to clear out a number of people deemed “responsible.” Eric works for his father’s campaign, but I don’t know much about his personal views since he’s not as visible, so I will refrain from commenting.

Then there’s Barron. Not much about him is know, but there are memes, and there is my own personal experiences as a young man with a traumatic background for me to draw on to at least speculate. Barron came of age during his father’s first campaign and presidency. He watched as friends became enemies and enemies became nightmares. He saw his father called every name under to sun and then some. He watched his mother be called similar, watched her be dragged through the proverbial streets to be humiliated for her past, her profession, and her looks. For the last eight something years, he has watched his family be attacked, persecuted, humiliated, vilified, and now seen his father almost be murdered. Had his father actually been murdered…

I went through different traumas than he has, I also went through them for a (somewhat) shorter time than he did, but it turned me into a monster. A monster that, only through the literal grace and love of Hel, did I manage to control and eventually tame (to a degree, anyways). I can imagine what Barron has gone through and I can imagine what that has done to him, what it has given him the potential to become. Should his father, or brothers, face a violent end because of their politics, well…we would have our Augustus, our Ivar the Boneless, and an army of furious, well armed, desperate people willing to rise up to his call.

Because Biden can make whatever claims he wants about how great his economy is, but for the Millennials, Gen Z, and Gen A, shit is completely fucked. There is no hope, there is no future, there is nothing to strive for, and the men of those generations lean strongly to the right and heavily for Trump. Three generations of men with nothing to lose and a rallying cry shouted by a young man who wants revenge against the system that murdered his father and stripped them all of everything? Legions would answer the call and instate him as Emperor, ending any Republic or democracy that this country still has.

Pelosi is right to thank God Trump survived. I thank the Aesir for the same. Because if he had died that day it would be as if the fires of Muspelheim had been unleashed. I pray no one else is foolish enough to try this again, because I know what will happen if Trump dies and I promise you, it is far, far worse than any Leftist thinks it would be if Trump wins.

Hela Bless.
