Today is Lindisfarne Day. For those who do not know what that is, this is the day in 793 ce that official kicked off the Viking Age. The first roar of rage, the first shot, the first raid.

It was when our ancestors struck back for the forced conversions of their Saxon brethren, when they struck back in defense of their ways and their (our) Gods and Goddess that the Church of Christ said would be done away with.

Remember this day and the days that followed after. Remember the deeds done, and the deeds that followed after. Remember our Ancestors who fought. Remember those that struck first!
