Gutten Tag, everyone, for today is apparently already into the Yuletide season. I was a bit curious and went looking for when my second favorite holiday was starting this year, only to discover it started on the 7th this time. Which blew my plans of doing a daily Yule post clear out of the water. Oh well.
I haven’t decided what, if anything, special I shall be doing for Yule on this blog, but I will keep you up to date on it as I figure that out. Just remember, the Yule is a time of peace, when all conflicts should be set aside. So I suppose I shall try not to go out there and be too harsh to people. There will be time enough for that after the peace of Yule finishes.

Which marker do you use to start the season? I usually hear that it begins a day or two before the Solstice, celebrates the Solstice as the start of the season and then parties hearty for the next twelve days or so. Different traditions will obviously do things their own way, so I’m not making any attempt to elevate one over the other. I’m just info-gathering.
