One of the hottest topics these days has to be social justice. One of the oldest goals of humanity has been to create a just society. There have been many, many theories as to what would be a just society. Some have been what we might consider utopias, while yet others have looked more like dystopian. From Greece to Rome, from the USA to Nazi Germany to the Soviet Union, to a hundred other examples, the goal has always been someone or some group’s vision of a just society.
No discussion of a just society can begin without first deciding what is Just in and of itself. This is something that has plagued philosophers and law makers really since the dawn of time.
