These are the Gods I walk with. Odin Allfather, the one eyed wanderer. Thor Odinson, wielder of Mjolnir. Hel, Lady of the Dead. Loki Lie-Smith, brother of Odin. Frigga, of hearth and home. Sif of the golden hair. Freyja, who brings forth the living crops and the crops of the dead. Freyr horned one. Balder bright and Hodr dark.
Ostara of spring time. Sol the sun. Mani the moon. Heimdall horn blower. Tyr one handed. Hermod, Nott, Dagr, Njordr, Vili, Ve, Vidar, Eir, Fulla, Hretha, Idunn of the Golden Apples, Ran, Sigyn, and dozens more. All these and more are the Gods I walk with. They are my kin.

You ancestors came from Scandinavia? Do you think that’s why you were first drawn to the old norse pantheon? (I myself am a native swede!)

Yes, that’s why. Back when I realized the Gods existed, I asked myself the question “Which team do I want to play for?” So I looked around, and to my ancestors, and found a home. 😀
It’s awesome to meet a native Swede! What part of Sweden are you from? My Grandmother is Half Swede/Half Dane.

Well, let’s see if you can figure it out… My town have had a university since BEFORE columbus first “discovered” America. Ever heard of the mythical heathen temple Adam of Bremen talked about, that the vikings were supposed to have built? This is the spot. And the other day you talked about the Disablot… the original great Disablot was held here, according to the old stories. =)
