I want to apologize for the lack of posts lately, or at least the interruption. Life’s gotten a bit busy, so I haven’t had a time to get a plethora of scheduled posts like I normally do.

Hopefully in the next few weeks I will have more Religio Romana posts for Tuesday. The religious terms went faster than I expected, though I think up next I will be going over the Gods and Goddesses, since that seems the best place to start as I do more research into practices. If you thought there wasn’t a lot out there for Heathenry, there’s even less for RR.

But that’s me, the lesser know Gods and the lesser known Paths, apparently.

I picked up two tarot decks today, a Universal Goddess Tarot and a Renaissance Tarot Deck. I think I will try to do some reviews on them, if I can. Tarot, despite not being part of Roman Religious practices, has always struck me as as more Roman than anything, just like the Runes are Germanic. The good news about the two decks is they both have a strong Roman theme to their imagery.

I’m sure I’m going to have some more political stuff coming out too, which I am a bit sorry for because it keeps distracting from the intended religious nature of the blog. But with all the things happening in Baltimore a how the cops are being just brutalized across the country, not to mention the terrorist attack that just happened which was stopped by one of those same maligned police officers, I just can’t keep my mouth shut.

I also can’t keep from feeling increasingly depressed, which is why I haven’t really written about that stuff yet.

Thankfully, Bellum Iustum looks like it should remain largely a political, and solely Roman, so check it out. We’re a bit light for posts, but I am doing a 30 days of devotion for Bellona over there on Thursdays.

Hela Bless
